Ready to Depart
Okay... I'm finished preparing everything for work and I'm all packed. It's now time to relax and spend some more time with Paul before it's off to LAX at 5 a.m. on Saturday. I'll be traveling all day tomorrow. My next post... I'll be in Germany. I miss everyone all already.
I teach History in Santa Ana, California. I earned both my teaching credential and MA in curriculum design at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. I also hold a record of leadership positions at my school site and district. I also work with UCI History Project and Vanguard University leading professional development for teachers. In addition, I have been an AP College Board Exam Reader, co-authored State wide curriculum on 10.4 Imperialism World History Unit, 2009 with The California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) and the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB), and presented on writing in the history classroom at several Social Studies Conferences (CWHA, CCHE, AERA, CCSS). I am a member of the California Teachers Association, Santa Ana Educators Association, World History Association, California Council for History Education (CCHE), California State History Project: History Summit Member-participant.
In my undergrad I studied abroad at the University of Brighton in England, which provided me with many wonderful travel experiences. Since then I have continued to travel to many locations around the world with my husband and son.
